Ninja Foodi 14 in 1 Rapid Cooker / Airfryer
Ninja Foodi 14 in 1 with smart lid technology. It’s considered a Rapid Cooker. I started with the 9 in 1 but it had two lids, and frankly, I just didn’t have the cupboard and counter space for that and all of the accessories I had to have. I have the 8qt 14 in 1 it’s pretty large, particularly considering I’m a single female who lives in an RV! I don’t regret the large one, there are times when I want to make a boatload of chilli and freeze most of it. I’m also really into the pot-in-pot style of cooking which requires room for a shelf in the middle.
The drawbacks of this unit are that it’s huge and it’s expensive, but the price has come down dramatically since I purchased mine. It has completely replaced my propane oven which I hated using and broke, like so many RV ovens do. Side note, I replaced that oven with a countertop dishwasher and it’s absolutely the best decision I made.

This handy but massive kitchen gadget can and will replace every cooking gadget in your kitchen, except the slow cooker, but I’ve found I simply pressure cook the things I used to use my slow cooker for it’s a million times faster than slow cooking and yields better results in my opinion. I didn’t opt for the version that has the meat thermometer but it’s mostly due to the fact that I don’t cook and eat a lot of meat. I do occasionally regret not going for this option, so if money is not a concern for you and you eat a lot of meat, I think it’s one of the reasons many people love this machine!
For many families, the first thing they cook in this beast is a whole chicken! You can’t do that in most rapid cookers or air fryers because of size constraints. This new version of the Ninja Foodi has “tender-crisp” technology it pressure cooks to maintain maximum juiciness and then air crisps! I have done chicken wings this way and they are next-level!!! The only comparable all-in-one is the instant pot and I believe it still has two lids. Most side-by-side reviews are of the old Ninja Foodi with two lids and only 9 functions. All in all, in my opinion, the Ninja Foodi 14 in 1 is the better product because of the one lid and the 14 functions.
I need to mention how confusing it is to figure out which model to buy, there are so many with just one or 2 extra features, and you can’t possibly know which one you are looking at when you’re on amazon. read the fine details. I would honestly recommend getting the 14 in 1 with the thermometer, it really takes all the guess work out of how you like your meat.

Purchased Ninja Speedi and looking forward to cooking many meals. So far have cooked chicken and french fries, both were absolutely perfect.
