Who Is She…
Solo Female van life. Full-time RV living. Solo female nomad. I started this life in 2009, before hashtags were hashtags. I had a wonderful resource when I started because my folks were living and travelling full-time in an RV. Not everyone has that luxury. I’m here to share my experience with you. You can ask me the questions you’re afraid to ask for fear of ‘mansplaining’. No offence to men, men are great, but our brains work differently. This is a safe space for me to share. I’m planning to share it all with you, where I go, what I buy, what works, and what doesn’t work. If you have questions I will do my best to answer them or help you find the answer.
I currently spend most of my time working in Hollywood North. I’m full-time boondocking in a 21’ Mercedes Sprinter Pleasure-way. Working in the film industry in Vancouver BC, Canada means long, long days. I’m so lucky to be able to park my van outside where ever we are shooting. Sometimes I’m lucky enough to be working a gig that my dogs can come to as well. So many great reasons to have a full-on camper to live and work in. My commute to work is under 5 minutes almost every single day! I also call a 34.5’ Class that I call home. It’s a lot to manage but I can’t imagine living in a “sticks and bricks” house right now, I just can’t see my future and where I want to be for the rest of it. I’m working toward my goal of being a snowbird again starting November 2023. I will work the first part of the year then take the sprinter down south to explore where I might want to move my big rig to. Snowbirds are folks who spend their winters down south.
Thanks for checking this page out. Please sign up for my email list, I’d love to share some discounts I get for my affiliate marketing. I’m also going to send out a few checklists and things I think are important.
My Story
I Said It
This website is a place for me to talk about my experiences in life. I will be reviewing experiences, products, places. As a person who has been ‘living tiny’ full time in an RV since 2009. I feel I have a lot to offer the community. Right now I work full time in the film industry, but I’m working very hard to become a digital nomad. I’m a certified Yoga instructor but I also drive a forklift. I’m pretty eclectic.
My first rig was a 5th wheel and it was stationary in Victoria BC, Canada. In 2013 I went through a pretty nasty divorce and moved my 5th wheel to Nanaimo where I traded it in for a 35′ Aclass. In 2018 I bought my first camper van and became even more of a Nomad. I still have the Big Beast and I plan to park it somewhere south permanently within the next two years. I’ll come back and live and work in Mercy (my Sprinter/Pleasureway).
